Compatibility & Integration Test Support

Compatibility Test Support provides assessment of an application's compatibility with multiple operating systems, browser platforms and other software products.   

Integration Test Support assesses the ability of the application and hardware architecture to integrate and/or coexist with legacy system, resident network configurations and other peer computing structures.

The scope of cross platform testing is defined based on either historical client traffic patterns or, in the case of a new web site, through use of metrics based on current Internet industry standards.  In this example, the number of browser platforms and operating systems that make up the custom test matrix defines the length and depth of this test initiative. The test case scripts are executed to identify defects specific to particular browser or Operating System platforms (or combination thereof). 

Documented test results will be analyzed to derive whether a particular software version or Operating System combination is driving a high error rate.  Defects are categorized by level of severity then prioritized for a course of action based on time, budget and resource considerations.  The result is a quality application that performs optimally.    

After the test phase completes, Tappan Hill will provide  documentation detailing test results.
